Hazelnuts are almost a must in a good granola! When the hazelnuts are roasted in the oven, they release some fantastic aromas and flavors. In our Hazelnut Butter Granola, we first roast the organic hazelnuts and blend them into homemade hazelnut butter. The hazelnut butter is mixed with seeds, grains, dates and kernels and the whole granola mixture is roasted in the oven. This results in a wonderfully crunchy granola with a deep hazelnut flavor and notes of cocoa.
